Team news

Striker JAMES VAUGHAN is set to make his second Crystal Palace debut after re-joining on loan from Everton until the end of the season. He will join one of Steffen Iversen, Jermaine Easter and Pablo Counago up front.

Norwich central defender Elliott Ward returns from a calf injury. Midfielder Andrew Surman has recovered from a knee problem but is unlikely to play.

Quotes

Roy Hodgson

"Last weekend's draw with Bristol was not great viewing but I was pleased with the way the players took my instructions onto the field.

"I want to make sure Crystal Palace are no longer an easy team to beat. I don't want to see us rolled over anymore - that's happened too many times this season.

"If we can keep it tight at the back, I'm convinced we have the players in attack to get us the goals. That's what we're working on."

Julian Speroni

"At the moment we are down at the bottom of the table but I know how hard everyone is working to turn things round.

"We have a good set of players and the owners are trying to strengthen in one or two areas as well, so I'm sure we will be OK.

"The thing is in this league it is not easy. Every game, no matter who you play, it is a battle and we just have to keep fighting as hard as we can."
